The Honor of your presence is requested to attend the September 11 Day of Remembrance and Service commemoration. Please share this invitation with all interested persons and organizations, as we gather publicly to remember this day in history and to envision a positive future for our Country.
This event is dedicated to the fallen and the families of those who lost their lives in the 9-11 tragedy.
The celebration will begin sharply at 7:00 PM and will last about 1 hour.
The program will include: Placing of Colors by local first responders (Fire Dept, Police Dept, Sheriff’s Office, and State Police); Pledge led by County Commissioner; Music and singing patriotic songs; Speakers; Sounding of sirens, ringing the bell for the final call; Chaplain for the invocation and closing benediction.
Some chairs provided…you are welcome to bring your own folding chair. Parking is available on the street and in the lot behind the fire station.
