Loving the beauty of our valley in summertime! Lush green trees everywhere, fields ripe and golden for harvest, skies blue and cloudless. Especially enjoy when there are cooler breezes in the evening time. We are blessed.

After traveling to a Third World Country some years ago, I have developed a strong gratitude for the abundance of water we have! We easily can wash dishes, take baths, water yards and gardens, turn sprinklers on for kids to play in...abundant life giving water!
Summer comes and eventually things begin to dry up. Turn brown and brittle. ..without water. And it can be like that in our Spiritual life as well.
When is the last time we have invited an outpouring of living water into our souls?
"For I will pour water to quench your thirst and to irrigate your parched fields. And I will pour out my Spirit on your descendants, and my blessings upon your children." Isaiah 44:3 NLT.
We can only give what is imparted to us through Holy Spirit. Feeling dry? Imagine an old fashioned water pump. We know that pump has to be 'primed' before it can be used to bring fresh water to the thirsty. We 'prime our pumps' by being in scripture, worship, solitude, good friends, numerous ways. What do you need for priming your pump?
Let's get saturated with Living Water! Our community needs that! Let's invite a 'pouring out' of Holy Spirit to this place! Let us see parched fields ripe for harvest! Let us drink deeply. Yes. And Amen.
