I wanted to share some stats here for encouragement and also to give God the glory!
YOU are Love INC!
We have hundreds of volunteers from our various Partner Churches through out our county. Because of your caring hearts we can report these numbers...remembering that 'numbers' are people!
We had 23, 951 calls made and/or answered in 2016.
Volunteer hours totaled 8, 652!
Those hours were given by YOU who love and care for our Neighbors in Need!
We were able to help 7, 089 individual and families in 2016!
THANK YOU, Church! Together we ARE impacting our Community for Christ!
So many faces and stories come to mind that we could share. There are people we know who have come out of addictions and are now living a healthier lifestyle, modeling better ways for their children.
There are senior and people who deal with disabilities who have had their daily lives enhanced because of needed Durable Medical items, plus visits or calls from volunteers who brighten their days.
There are people just out of jail who often are in need of bikes to be able to get work, and we have been able to provide that for them.
The list goes on and on. I am reminded of a client who called, so grateful for a comforter so she could be warmer as she recovered from illness.
A client who was given firewood as he was dying from a serious illness. He, in turn, offered prayers to the one who called him...
Many young families received clothing for their Pre K kiddos. Several clients received Maternity clothes...so needed!
Our Gift closet served many happy children for their Birthdays...and our Layette Ministry served many brand new babies with needed items.
The danger of 'reporting' all of this, is not being able to mention everyone! Our Kitchen closets blessed many families...individual volunteers cared for Neighbors in Need by giving rides, taking meals, visiting. So much. So many!
Church ... THANK YOU for loving our Community.
